The largest subspecialty
teleradiology network
Franklin & Seidelmann Subspecialty Radiology (F&S) is a leading, growing network of more than 100 subspecialty radiologists.

The expertise of our doctors who deliver highly accurate and detailed interpretations is what sets F&S apart from other teleradiology providers or radiology groups. F&S radiologists “speak the language” of clinicians, are highly accessible for consultations and prefer a collaborative team approach to medicine with physicians and with each other. This why F&S provides interpretations that clinicians can rely on to be accurate, definitive, decisive, directive and detailed.

F&S maintains a high level of quality and consistency across interpretations through training and education, utilization of a standard internally developed lexicon, a rigorous quality control and peer review process, and second reads for radiologists new to F&S.

F&S is able to attract and retain leading subspecialists because its teleradiology platform enables images, information and reports to be easily and securely distributed between clients and radiologists residing in any location. This removes the geographical challenges that most imaging facilities face in finding subspecialists to work on site. F&S finds the subspecialty experts and then sends the work to them.

F&S Radiologists Backgrounds Include:

- Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology

- Neuroradiologists with Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQs)

- Licensed in 50 states (combined)

- Subspecialty areas include: musculoskeletal (MSK), neuroradiology, body, cardiac CTA, breast MR, pediatric, and nuclear imaging.

- Advanced training in modalities such as 3.0T/1.5T MRI, MDCT, and PET/CT.

- Clinical expertise in body parts such as brain, head/neck, spine, soft tissue, shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, knee and foot/ankle

- All live in the U.S.

- Significant experience prior to joining F&S – radiologists must have three to five years of experience including academic experience and/or fellowship, have read at least 10,000 studies within their subspecialty, are published, and are motivated to focus exclusively on their subspecialty area.

- After joining the F&S team, radiologists interpret an average of 10,000 to 15,000 cases annually to maintain their expertise level.

- Many are national and international speakers and writers on various subspecialty radiology topics. Collectively F&S radiologists have developed more than 8,000 articles, papers and lectures.

- Many also teach at the country’s leading academic institutions and have joined the F&S network in order to access subspecialty cases and team collaboration for teaching and lecturing and to supplement instructor income.

- Many support physicians that treat several professional sports teams in the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and WNBA teams.

“I joined Franklin & Seidelmann because of their good reputation, focus on providing quality service, and their commitment to continually build upon their radiologist’s level of expertise through training programs. The biggest benefit to me is the extra volume of subspecialty cases I can use to supplement our teaching program.” Dr. Donald Resnick.

“In order to maintain referrals a radiologist needs to ‘speak the language’ of the referring clinician at the same or higher level of knowledge,” explains Dr. Javier Beltran. “This can be achieved only when a radiologist is dedicated to that specialty,” adds Beltran.
