Quality is our Foundation and Differentiation
F&S was founded on the principle that through subspecialization radiologists can become experts in a particular field resulting in a higher level of accuracy and diagnostic quality in their radiology interpretations. This expertise can only be achieved through interpreting a very high volume of specialized cases and dedicating oneself to a specific clinical area, anatomy and modality, such as musculoskeletal MRI. By maintaining high standards of our radiology team and reports through selective hiring and quality control processes F&S provides physicians with consistently accurate and detailed diagnoses to ensure the best possible treatment and care for their patients.
F&S maintains a high level of quality and consistency across reports through the utilization of a proprietary lexicon, a quality control and peer review process and ongoing educational programs.
Prior to joining F&S radiologists must have significant work experience and fellowship in their dedicated subspecialty areas as well as have interpreted a minimum of 10,000 cases. Additionally, radiologists must pass a set of challenging test cases and provide referrals from referring physicians to ensure expertise meets the standards of the F&S team.
F&S has invested millions of dollars into its sophisticated radiology workflow platform that distributes images, information and reports between our clients and radiologists quickly and securely. This includes providing online access to reports, images and status via the AccuRad™ Client Portal. The F&S data center is one of the highest quality solutions available in any market today. A Tier 1 co-located facility manages network and Internet infrastructure, ensuring 99.999% uptime reliability, scalability and security. F&S also supports compliance with HIPAA guidelines and ACR/NEMA teleradiology standards.
